Prometheus
Captain America: Brave New World is one of the Marvel Studios films that was recently delayed, even though it had managed to finish filming before the start of the actors' strike. Unfortunately, it seems that the change in its release date has to do with the poor reception of the movie in test screenings. It seemed that the end of the actors' strike was going to bring good news for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the upcoming releases of the franchise. However, Disney has now had to modify its calendar because many of its future titles will not be able to meet their release date. However, Captain America: Brave New World seemed to be one of those few films that would be able to be released on its original date set for July 2024, since filming had finished and the movie was in post-production. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2025 to see it. And it seems there is an explanation for the delay that has nothing to do with the strikes. According to The Hot Mic's Jeff Sneider (via Discussing Film), the fourth installment of the Captain America saga will undergo extensive reshoots sessions following negative test scores. The report also indicates that reshoots will take place between January and May 2024, with three major action sequences being removed. https://movieweb.com/captain-america-4-report-reshoots-negative-test/
