Prometheus Posted February 19 Share Posted February 19 James Cameron debunks the rumors of a 9-hour cut for Avatar 3 , clarifies it's actually 3 hours per movie for Avatar 3 , 4, and 5. Avatar 3 set to release on December 19, 2025, continues Na'vi-human storyline. Cameron already working on Avatar 4 , possibly up to Avatar 7. Despite the record-breaking success, Cameron faces the challenge of passing on Avatar movies due to long production times and aging. "There is no nine-hour rough cut! If I ever…I would put a shotgun in my mouth if I ever did a nine-hour rough cut. No, what I said was it’s nine hours of material, meaning Avatar 3, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5.
